Each year Manly Campus works with NSW Health to offer the vaccines recommended and funded for adolescents by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
The following vaccines will be offered:
Year 7聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine (2 doses at least 6 months apart)
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine (single dose)
Year 10聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Meningococcal ACWY vaccine (single dose)
Information packs and consent forms are distributed to students in term one. Immunisations are given during school time at no cost to families, and teachers and nurses are on hand to support students who may be anxious. Parents should check the school calendar for immunisation dates.
The immunisation program is coordinated by Ms Lissa Woolven (supervisor of girls) and Mr Scott White (supervisor of boys).
If parents have any questions about the immunisation program, they should contact the teacher responsible for their child's year.听However, you will need to contact NSW Health on 1300 066 055 for information regarding your child's vaccination history, as the school does not keep vaccination records.听You can also聽find more information at聽.听
